 Synopsis

‘Fourteen, Frets & Faith’
My Dog Ate My Homework Productions

James, brought up by his mother and grandmother, is an average teenage boy.  Not an outsider, but not part of the in-crowd.  He longs for an electric guitar that will allow him to both show the world he’s really a Rock God in waiting, and help him to impress Faith, a close friend and the girl of his dreams.  When his much anticipated birthday arrives he finds himself in possession of a guitar, but it is obviously pre-used and appears to possess neither Rock God status, nor girl impressing power.  Hiding his disappointment and embarrassment becomes his main goal in life, but the guitar begins to change him…

The guitar and the universe conspire in a series of events both live and animated, which help James to realise that he may not have got what he originally wanted, but he certainly got what he needed.
